Through this cooperation, customers using the EasyPark app will be able to automatically start, stop, and pay for short-term parking seamlessly in PBW facilities directly via EasyPark, powered by automated license plate recognition. The service will roll out from December 2025 in selected PBW car parks, and will then scale step by step to around 120 PBW locations across Germany by the end of 2026. The cooperation supports a shared ambition to accelerate digital, user-friendly parking in the region.“PBW is a strong and forward-leaning partner, and we’re excited to bring a truly seamless, ticketless parking experience to drivers across Baden-Württemberg,” said Heidi Wildemann, Country Director Germany, Arrive. “With automatic number-plate recognition connected to EasyPark, parking becomes easier from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. This modernization helps PBW and local cities streamline their operations, reduce congestion, and ultimately improve everyday mobility to make cities more livable for both residents and visitors.”
“By connecting to EasyPark, we are taking our digital services to the next level. We are not only expanding the payment options, but also creating an ecosystem that makes parking modern and up to date. Automated camera parking is a key component. It enables relaxed entry and exit and provides real added comfort for our customers. The cooperation with EasyPark sends a clear signal: we are consistently driving forward the digitalization of parking management,” says Anja Müller, Managing Director of Parkraumgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg mbH.
PBW operates 230 parking garages and outdoor parking lots in 50 cities with a total of more than 25,000 parking spaces, giving it near-statewide coverage across Baden-Württemberg. The EasyPark app is available in more than 4 000 cities and 20 countries across Europe.
